Which pack details matter most for a weigh filler?
The most important pack details are opening size, usable fill height, stability, closure or sealing method, target weight range, allowable dust or spillage, and how the pack is presented to the filler. These decide the discharge outlet, support, clamp or transfer method.
Flexible packs can move while being filled. Rigid containers may need indexing, neck location or height adjustment. VFFS lines require a different interface because the weigh filler discharges into a bagmaker rather than into an operator-presented pack.
